Last month we had a great time filming and editing the daily recaps at Solar Festival. We also made an aftermovie and spiced it up with animation. Daphne made a motion graphics animation for Raab Karcher, and Steven created an animation for Bol.com, together with Gracious Studio’s. And last week Gino and Steven worked hard to create an awsome music video for Fedde Le Grand and Dannic vs Coco Star which premiered this week. They even played a part in it.
Last week Tinus created a Star Wars animation for Yourzine. Daphne and Gino did a shoot with branding and marketing agency David at ROC Midden Nederland to promote the open door day. And Steven and Daphne went to the beach at Strand Binnen to shoot a film for Omoda.
Last week Daphne was working on the creative talent line-up for Solar Weekend Festival. For the music video for VANT, Jelle did a photoshoot with VANT fans. Max and Tinus were creating case films about Samsung and Star Wars for Yourzine. And Brent’s last job as an intern was creating a line-up trailer for Breda Barst. As a farewell gift he got a new skate deck.
The last weeks we worked on the new music video for UK rockband VANT. A really fun newspapercraft stop motion project. We also made items of some really wild student parties for Solar Weekend Festival together with Nathan de Vries from BNN and 4 young aspiring presenters. We congratulate Mascha Lange for becoming the new “face” of Solar Weekend!
A compilation of behind the scenes footage from last month. We were quite busy animating over 15 films for Dutch toy brand SES Creative. We made a music video for internationally renowned DJ Oliver Heldens (already way over a million views!!). We were filming and animating for The Dirty Denims’ new music video and working on a new animation for Gemeente Breda. With the film we help refugees that got a residence permit to stay in Breda and have to learn all about life in The Netherlands.
Here’s the result of the Animation Jam we hosted at Animate the World recently!
Thanks to everybody who spent 15 hours creating these animations with us. We had a blast!
The next one is 03-03-2017. E-mail Tinus (e-mail at the end of the video) to sign up.
Check out this part of My animated world 10 years later. It’s a stop motion version of Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombread!
Watch out this part of My animated world 10 years later. We made a tattoo animation! And yes, They are real tattoos!
2 December 2016 we had a super fun animation jam at the Animate the World HQ. We invited a lot of animators and illustrators to join us for a looong day of creating animation. Tinus made a soundscape, and each group got 10 seconds of it to associate, storyboard, design and animate upon. Here you see what happened Behind the Scenes. We will post the results soon.
Last week we made an event promo by cutting up the flyer and using the Boomerang app. We love to do papercraft animation and Daphne and Micha created a papercraft visual style. Max and Jelle were hanging out in a coffee bar to brainstorm and write for new independent films for Animate the World: Entertainment. We released a new billytheblob film, a throwback to when he was a baby. And we are collaborating with Studio Kubus for a new projected animation on the monumental building Spanjaardsgat in Breda during 3fm Serious Request.
You might have noticed we have a new thing called ATW Inbetweens. It features animated mini series and animation experiments we do inbetween our regular work. This is the second Billy the Blob episode. Enjoy!
Last Week Tinus filmed Steven and did some fun rotoscoping. We were animating presents in stop motion and digital 2D characters to create an awesome inter animationstyle interaction for children’s creative toy brand SES. And we animated a new super short Billy the Blob episode. Stay tuned 🙂
Last week we celebrated Billy’s 1st birthday! What was it a special day. Billy enjoyed the attention an his presents! In the evening Billy became wasted from the whiskey, what a crazy night!
Our office pet Billy the Blob turned 1 last week! We celebrated with cake, balloons and confetti. And of course a celebration animation.
We animated toys for SES and here you see Daphne animating the classic “Hamertje Tik”.
Tinus and Steven were able to keep progressing their High Five game because our client Albert Heijn was very happy with the results of the 4 films we made.
The last weeks at Animate the World we did a lot of shoots. Stop motion animation and film. Our new Canon lens helped us to get even better pictures and footage. Max sketched a lot of monsters for future ATW:Entertainment projects and we also went to Playgrounds Festival with the entire team. Freelancers and students showed us their work at the Playgrounds Show & Tell. And our film My Animated World: 10 Years Later screened during the festival at the Chassetheater. On the same stage where Laika and legend Phil Tippett gave their talks. It was awesome to hear Phil talk about his immense carreer. Well done Playgrounds!
Our website has been visually updated to our new identity! We now have a Bouzouki at the office, thanks to Tristan. And Tinus used it right away in this video’s music. And Steven and Daphne were working on animated films for Albert Heijn.
We forgot to film each other while working, so here’s a teaser for our new showreel we edited. Full version online soon.
Last week 38 was all about playing around, experiments and experience. Max and Jelle made a moving storyboard for a new entertainment film in the Wasted Times universe. Tinus and Steven were modelling 3D characters and UFO’s. Jelle got back to his clay roots and made a character inspired by the curly haired Tinus. Daphne and the boys were animating social media content for Telfort. And Jelle got to drive Audi’s RS models including this RS6. The smile on Jelle’s face is still there 😉 Thanks for the amazing experience Audi Centrum Breda!
Last Week… Uh, more like last months ? But we’re back on the weekly updates! We made the film “My Animated World: 10 Years Later”. (Check it out at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8G1GVSp11nw)
Also, our music composer Tinus is learning to play the sax. So he played Happy Birthday for Daphne’s Bday. We had a nice party because Animate the World had it’s 10th anniversary! ? And then it was @bredabarst festival. We sponsored the festival with animated promo videos and great content during the event. We had a blast!
The last weeks @ Animate the World we did a lot of preparations and shoots for our new independent animated short film “My Animated World: 10 years later
Last Week @ Animate the World we had several live action shoots involving jumping and dancing our asses off. We researched the works of Eadweard Muybridge for a very special part of our new independent film. Method acting is another thing we do a lot. We got into the mood for some vocal recording for a parody on Mortal Kombat. We also made a technical design and a small prototype animation for a special mega skateboard we are creating together with prop builder Peter de Been.
Last week we made the second trailer for Breda Barst Festival. First we danced like there was no tomorrow, and after that we added the Breda Barst arms and colour to make it super freaky. Jana animated a Samsung business case for Yourzine and we now have a new nosey studio mascotte called Kaatje. She obviously likes to lie down a lot, and so does Jelle 😉
Last week 18: Our music video for Oliver Heldens & Chocolate Puma got a Vimeo Staff Pick (yay!!), Tinus made a Drum ‘n Bass track for our new showreel, we created a new promo animation for Breda Barst Festival and are working on a new animation for the municipality of Breda.

Check out the new music video we made for Oliver Heldens & Chocolate Puma. The song is called Space Sheep. The sheeps are taking over space and….. the whole world! This project was a very nice collaboration with UBERcut!
Fly with us through our animation studio @animatetheworld
In this Last Week episode you can see us making a new short episode for Wasted Times and creating a Whiteboard 2.0 animation for the Municipality of Breda.
Last week we made a case film for Yourzine’s client, Samsung and Tinus tried to play Slayer on his banjo.
Last week Jelle and Tinus did card board stop motion animations as a canvas for digital 2D animation. Jelle gave a stop motion master class for which Anouk, Peter and Daphne animated our office pet, Darth Vader. And for a new Wasted Times episode, Jelle and Max did some real life acting as a reference for timing and emotions.
Last week we animated a lot (a lot!) of beer caps, even on formal friday! We also went outside to animate the foam board objects Steven made last week.
Last week Steven created some cool foamboard objects for a new animation, Daphne animated a hare and for an animation for Telfort, Max empathized with different occupations.
Last week @animatetheworld Tinus and Steven took their high five to a whole other level when they finished the first films for Yacht. Jelle and Peter build Billy the Blob and animated him for the first time. He will star in our new showreel, soon to be released.
Last week we had a lot of fun with our projects, including this papercraft and 2D animated stop motion. We love working with paper. Even if it’s outdoors and it’s freezing cold 🙂
We built a little box thingy as a canvas for an ongoing art project at the ATW office. The entire team will contribute tot it.
Max was animating the oldschool way for Value Chain Academy. They understand the increase production value of creating illustrations and animation by hand. We are now going to shoot all the 2D animations frame by frame in the city on walls and streets to create travelling animation that visualises the story.
Last Week @animatetheworld we bought an enormous cactus. They look great, but boy do they hurt when you try to hug them (true story). Max finished animating a short animated film for Telfort and Tinus created music for several projects and wanted to briefly show his process.
First of all the best wishes for 2016! We have had a great year with creative animations we made for UnieKaas, Disney, Bijenkorf , ABN Amro, Telfort, Yourzine, Bolletje, Look o Look, Bol.com and Yacht.
And of course the premiere of the Hardwell documentary in Tuschinski where we have worked on.
To give you a look behind the scenes we made this compilation of making of footage.
Last week at Animate the World: Jelle and Britt made a timelapse of Rotterdam’s skyline for a new animation we’re making for Yacht. We stop motion animated a Lego Darth Vader character and Max made a motion graphics animation for ABN Amro.
Last Week at Animate the World we moved in our new office space at AVhuis Breda. We just didn’t fit in our old one anymore, so we are really glad with the new space. We finished our 3 YouTube preroll ads for candy brand Look-o-Look and had a second film shoot for Yourzine including this stop motion street snowboard shoot.
Last week, former intern Steven joined our Animate the World team. Welcome Steven! Tinus composed some cool music to go with one of our animations. We filmed Walter, the camper of Yourzine and Jelle did another Sinterklaas stop motion shoot for V&D.
Last week we created animations for Bolletje and De Bijenkorf
Last week Jelle animated a sea of kruidnoten for Bolletje and he planned a ‘day out of the office’ with his friend Peter de Been from MetPeter. They made this cool wooden character in all sorts of poses and made some test shots for the lip syncing.
Last week we went to the Playgrounds Festival in Breda with our entire team. We loved the inspiring speeches of animators from all over the world! Britt was illustrating some backgrounds for a new animation and Jelle started the stop motion shoot for Bolletje with loooooots of kruidnoten.
Last week at Animate the World was all about characters. We did motion colouring for our characters for the National Healthcare Hotline (Nationale Zorgnummer). They will also be used in the print campaign. Just like the super hero characters for Anddare. It also started with animation, a motion comic. Now they use the characters based on the employees on their website, business cards and the real life comic book we named The Guardians of E-commerce. We also created avantgarde-ish types of characters for a new project and did a little test with the outlines.
Last week at Animate the World: We attended the World Premiere of the new I Am Hardwell: Living the Dream documentary in Tuschinski Amsterdam. Director Robin Piree brought us to the team to create 2D character animations of a young Hardwell making his first steps in becoming a real and succesful DJ. One of this weeks projects involved animating in a forest at night (creepy!) to create mysterious stop motion animations for Yourzine. What a week!
There we were last night at the premiere of I am Hardwell, living the dream! They even asked us to come on stage. What an experience and what a night. Thanks to http://www.falsumid.com for the very cool photo!
Last week at Animate the World: We received over a thousand kruidnoten (little cookies basicly) from Bolletje. We are going to create stop motion animated films for Bolletje for the Sinterklaas festivities. And eat kruidnoten till we drop 😉 We also showed the stop motion and 2D animated film we were working on last weeks to the client in our little movie theater. And we went to Kasparov, located in one of Breda’s prettiest buildings, the watertower.
Last week 40: We’re working on a very fun project for the National Healthcare Hotline involving a mix of stop motion and 2D animation. Here are some character sketches and work in progress (uncolored) shots. We also love to play tabletennis to get away from keyboard. Our neighbours from YourSocial joined and we made a massive around the table match! Last week we also visited candy brands Chup a Chups and Look o Look and got a funny candypizza as a present. Thanks guys!
Work Hard, Play Hard! Last week we began celebrating Britt’s birthday with vlaaien (cakes) from Limburg. Yum! Jana created props for a new stop motion animation. Max animated an owl frame by frame. Raph got underwater hockey instructions from Britt. She recently got silver at the World Championship under 23, Go Britt! And this weekend we went out to Breda Barst festival to party and check out our animations on the big screens. We are sponsor of this festival because we love it so much!
Last week 37: We went up in the air, did a lunch presentation of our showreel at an advertising agency, made a paper version of Last Week and had a dream come true driving a BMW i8!
Last week 36: The word is out! We created animated scenes for the documentary Hardwell: Living the Dream. We also got ourselves new tabletennis bats and they had to be customized with characters of ourselves. We also made our Showreel for 2015 (check it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?
Here it is, Animate the World on the poster of the new Hardwell movie. Thanks to Robin Piree (www.robinpiree.com) who Jelle van Dun and his guys collaborated with! In Cinema 15 october 2015!
Last week 35: Jelle went on with his stop motion cheese business. A little result at the end. Tinus and Geert were on top of awesome character animations for a music documentary. And there are some shots of an animation about the history of Breda, our hometown.
Last week Jelle cut up and animated chunks of cheese for a dutch cheese brand. Geert designed a character to animate for a music documentary. Max and Jelle rehearsed the storyboard pitch for Wasted Times Max will give in Los Angeles. And Tinus composed this music!
Together with creative artist Rutger Termohlen we created this awesome music video. The song In My Head is a very nice deep house track with summer vibes from Eelke Kleijn.
“Making of” footage of our stop motion animation promofilm for WOLF, a chain driving schools throughout the Netherlands. We created the film using self made stencilled graphics and animating them on the streets of Breda.
Making of the VIVID (Value Increase by Visual Design) project connected several european visual design organisations. At Animate the World we created an animated documentary about their efforts to promote visual design. We animated in the streets of Breda, Turnhout, Antwerp, Lille, Tourcoing, Southampton and Cambridge.
Besides creating awesome animations, we at Animate the World love some good music. When we’re not on stage playing with our own bands, we’re probably rocking at a great concert or festival. So for us, combining animation with music makes perfect sense.
This year we will focus on working together with the music industry. Therefore, we made a compilation of the music related animations we already created.
Animating a music video
We love to work on music related projects like your band’s music video or a promo video for a music festival.
As an animation video producer, we keep the audience and the atmosphere of your music or festival in mind to create the most unique animated video content!
To accomplish that, we use stop motion animation, motion graphics, film or mixed media.

Did you know, when watching a movie, people automatically focus on faces? In animation, this works the same way, even though we use cartoon faces. Wondering how we know this? Well, we used an eyetracking device on one of our latest animations. Karin den Bouwmeester from Userproof is a usability expert who normally tests the usability of websites. With the eyetracker, she makes visible where the user is looking at. With that knowledge you can check if this matches the strategy you had in mind for your website or whether you need to make some changes.
To check whether our viewers see all the info we show them in our animations, Karin let us use the eyetracker.
In this video you’ll see the test subject looks at every visual. We always let the visuals enter the screen one by one, the test shows the viewer needs this to see everything clearly.
We also got confirmation that graphics work better then text. The test subject mostly sees the visuals in one glance, while reading text takes more time and effort.
We are proud to present our new music video for stoner/sludge band Tank86. We at Animate the World wanted to something really grim and dark with stop motion, and when Tank86 asked us to create a music video, things came together and after long nights of stop motion animation on the streets of Antwerp, Den Bosch and Breda we created this!
We made a new website for our own animated series Wasted Times. Here we will post our progress of our creations. Check it out! http://www.wastedtimes.tv/
We always deliver custom animated films. We spend a lot of time trying to find the perfect visual animation style for your story. And to support the story’s feeling we started composing our own music and producing custom sound effects. Soon we will publish the first examples of our music and sound design.
Nowadays more and more explanation animations, better known as explanimations, are published. Often, a character is animated, a voice-over is added and there you have a nice way to explain your product or service to your consumers.
For our client ‘Check your service’ we made such a straightforward explanimation, as you can see above.
This style will not always be appropriate for every message and audience. Therefore, we at Animate the World, customize explanimations in different animation styles.
For instance, we create a totally different visual concept to tell the story.
Then your explanimation may look like this film we made for Clypper:
It’s also possible to use only stop motion animation, like we did for Canon. This nonverbal animation speaks for itself.
Sometimes we choose a combination of the examples above. We did so for the healthmix of Topbuxus. We tell their story in stop motion animation, assisted by animated infographics to show how the product works.
This film is also nonverbal, which is perfect if you want to show your film on a busy convention.
Sometimes, the message isn’t so cheerful. Even then, you can use animation to convey your message. Dark, calm images, combined with an old and dark voice give your animation the right mood.
As you see, every message needs a different approach. And that’s what we like about creating client films!
In our graphics showreel you can see more examples of how we use motion graphics:
Breda Barst is a music festival in Breda we love to visit. We used the illustrations from the festival identity by our friends from Staynice and used stop motion animation to make a dynamic film.
A film for the city of Breda to promote their vision on the city in 2030. We used a mix of visual styles from 2D character animation to timelapse and stopmotion to present this vision.
We love to teach other people the joy of stop motion animation. We provided this workshop for the visitors of Cultuurnacht (Culture Night) Breda.
Enormous slidings, moving goals and a ball with an attitude. This humoristic short stop motion animation from 2009 is a selection of what we can do with a ball and 3 footballplayers.
An animation test for the Breda Barst Festival promo we are working on at the moment. We used an illustration from the festival identity made by our friends from Staynice.
The 3rd episode in our sports series featuring weight lifting. We really tried to make it “pop”.
A follow up to our last week’s sport short “Grand Slam”. “Sprint” is about running, and let’s hope this guy is luckier than the tennis player.
A short 3D animation inspired by Wimbledon and tennisstars from the 70’s.
The dollars kept walking away in New York back in 2007. We should have known the crisis was coming.
We made an animated teaser for the upcoming documentary Too Posh To Push/Ikınamam Tatlım from Funda Tasdan. The teaser has a strong statement that suits the documentary very well.
A short animation experiment with clay replacements. The clay was modelled in 8 different forms. We replaced those forms after every photo we took to create this nice movement.
Today it’s 50 years ago, President John F. Kennedy addressed the congress for equal civil rights. That’s why we made a motion graphic with a piece of his statement.
We think Claude the Cloud is the reason the spring in the Netherlands is no where to be found. It just keeps on raining over here. This is a film of him doing his evil thing.
Our intern Boudewijn says thank you for his internship at Animate the World
A fish made of dirt loves to eat coffepads!
I gave my 4 year old son a quick lesson in stop motion animation. He got a hang of it quite fast. I’m so proud!
Exploring the possibilities for turning a VHS cassette into an animation character
Congratulations to the new king of the Netherlands, King Willem-Alexander.
A few students from art academy St. Joost (Breda, the Netherlands) visited our studio to ask questions about entrepreneurship in animation. Ofcourse we made an animation with them!
A short animation tuesday episode with a slice of peperkoek (Part of Dutch breakfast). I love it.
We created 2 animated films for Samsung in different animation styles. For this announcement film we transformed an acrobatic actor into a blue stop motion animation “puppet” and designed motion graphics that reacted with the puppet to tell this story.
We also created a motion graphic film to explain how well Samsung Netherlands is doing when it comes to social media marketing. The films were commisioned by our social media partner Yoursocial.
A short stop motion animation about a small cabinet acting like a aircraftcarrier for paper planes.
Crowdsourced object animation I made back in 2009 when I just joined Twitter. @jellevandun or @animatetheworld
If you start working for Animate the World, the first thing we do is make an animation of/with you. Here’s the film for Boudewijn, our new intern. You can see he’s quite an acrobat 🙂
A character animation made of candy hearts, paper cut out shoes and hands. Dutch social media agency Red Carpet asked us to animate a story about them helping a client to get the audience to love his brand. Ofcourse this was released on Valentines Day!
A compilation of stop motion animation and motion graphics work in the second half of 2012.
For 1 year I followed the building of the AVhuis, a creative hotspot for filmmakers in Breda, the Netherlands. Everytime I took pictures from the same angle to create this timelapse. We took over 25,000 pictures.
This time it’s a classic! A selection from about 100 mini stop motion animations I made for VARA TV’s popular Dutch show De Wereld Draait Door.
As a stop motion animator you constantly see things in your surroundings which can be animated. I really love the movement of a caterpillar and testing materials through that movement. Lesson learnt: Make longer sequences of each different caterpillar for a longer film 🙂
Apples are cool objects to animate! This one is a bit unfortunate 🙂
Claimer: 2 apples were harmed making this film. Sue me.
We made some animation tests in HTML5 this time! We jumped into a new programme called Adobe Edge Animate. An animation tool which allows us to make sweet animations for the web in HTML5. This means you can view our animations on your tablet or smartphone.
With years of Flash and After Effects experience, it was sometimes hard to learn this slightly different way of animating, but we got 2 cool results. We completely redid 2 animations we made earlier in After effects and Flash.
Here is the first one:
Yay, it’s Animation Tuesday! I recently dug up my lovely Nintendo Game&Watch’s and had to buy new cell batteries. That’s why I came up with this little story. In our office we have a large chalkboard wall which is fun for storyboards or brainstorming, but also animation, so I threw that into the film for the background!
I recorded the sounds from the Donkey Kong game and used them for the music to get an authentic feel.
We are making more and more explaining animations (explanimation) these days. For the dutch webcontent startup Hou Het Vers (Keep It Fresh) we designed a fresh logo and a stylish animation to explain what the company does.
Animate the World has it’s new Head Quarters in the AVhuis in Breda, the Netherlands. It’s the creative hotspot for filmmakers in the Netherlands. Ofcourse Animate the World is the main supplier of animation for AVhuis marketing. We followed the buildingproces and made a timelapse of thousands of pictures we shot from the same angle.
Recently we signed a new employee that’s a real 3D motion graphics/motion design talent. Check out Ruud’s film showing our new animation possibilities. The 3D animated film also shows our animation services, for which brands we’ve worked and where our films have aired.
When it comes to promo films the first thing that comes to mind for most people is a bombastic, shiny, huge 3D letters, in your face film. We prefer doing it in a different and graphical way, and still making the impact that is needed for a promo.
So we did for Clypper, the new mobile video service for an exclusive fan experience for clubs, bands, artists, brands, etcetera. A modified version of this film will soon be used by Benfica Football Club.
A new television programme from German international TV station Deutsche Welle aired our film “I Love Kruidnoten”. The show “Shift” features the most remarkable things happening on the internet.
Watch the episode here (Our film at 10:47):
“Jelle van Dun, Breda-resident and the founder of “Animate the World,” a Dutch animation company famous for its stop-motion videos, created this trailer for TEDxBreda, a fun stop-motion tale exploring the event’s theme: “Remix Your Reflex.”
In the Netherlands it’s time for Sinterklaas festivities. This animation is about my love for Kruidnoten, which are basicly really small cookies, that are part of these festivities.
Here’s a sneak peek at our new Showreel!
Animation test for tracking filmed footage.
One of our first client films. It’s a trailer for the Dutch Gaming Days in 2006. Very fun project because we are game nerds 😉
2 idents we made for our showreels. We created them with stop motion animation and motion graphics and designed a 3D character.
Animation Tuesday! This film features a caterpillar from maskingtape which became one of our signature movements!
Skateboarding without wheels? We can do it!
A compilation of stop motion animation and motion graphics work from my animationstudio Animate the World in the second half of 2012.
Music by Thomas Rademakers aka Camp Yo!
Hi, nice you’re watching Animation Tuesday again! This time one of the biggest commercial productions we did at Animate the World. We love to do commercial work because we almost always get total creative freedom to make great things. This production was for Canon and features a bunch of footballing digital cameras. Say What? Yes, footballing cams. Enjoy 🙂

A happy animated 2013 to you all!
Here’s a stop motion animation experiment I did back in 2005 for my film My Animated World. In the Netherlands we put these sprinkles on our bread and we call it hagelslag.
TV station Omroep Brabant asked us a bizarre but really fun question. “Can you guys animate partying sheep doing the polonaise?” Yes we can! This is how we did it. A polonaise is a dance dutch people do when celebrating carnaval or a winning match from our national team 🙂

Photography Museum Amsterdam (Foam) hosted the first stop motion animation event in the Netherlands. The event, called STOP.MOTION united the best dutch stop motion animators for an unforgetable night of animation.
In order to give the visitor a taste of stop motion animation, Foam asked ANIMATE the WORLD to create animation workshops. We provided the event with awesome improvisation animation workshops.
Check out some footage and results of the workshops in the video.
ANIMATE the WORLD produced an animated film for Rototov Printing Media which explains the process of making, printing and delivering folders in a creative and original way. During the explanation it becomes clear that Rototov is the best partner for the job.
By using a combination of stop motion animation and 2D computer animation (flash), the animated film stands out from the crowd. That’s exactly why Rototov Printing Media commissioned ANIMATE the WORLD to develop the concept for the film and to produce it.
A series of stop motion animations and 2d flash puppet-like animation for Consumentenbond (Consumers Union in the Netherlands). These animations contributed a humoristic style to a website called the Testlab quiz. The site was made to inform how products are tested.
Besides producing great animated films, ANIMATE the WORLD designs original websites which stand out from the crowd. The photography, videography and stop motion animation give this website a unique and high quality look and feel.
In the past ANIMATE the WORLD produced a stop motion animated film for Topbuxus BV showing the production process of a buxus plant.
A new independent stop motion animated film to show my love for my favorite snack called Kruidnoten.
ANIMATE the WORLD produced 3 stop motion animated films for Hoogheemraadschap Noorderkwartier to state the advantages of digitalisation for their staff.
The last few weeks were packed with building a set with nature like grass and complexe stop motion animations with the newest Adidas Predator X football shoes.
Ransacker.com, UK’s top review and price comparion website, for running and football shoes, is a big fan of our work. Like many companies they see endless posibilities with the beauty of stop motion animation.
ANIMATE the WORLD produced the intro for all upcoming videos on the website, and the first of a series stop motion animations about new top products. ANIMATE the WORLD also produced the sound effects and composed the music used in this video.
After being broadcasted on several TV networks all over the world, My Animated World has now entered Swedish TV. The Educational TV station UR played the stop motion animated film on the programme REC to inspire children.
This film has inspired a lot of people to make their own stop motion animations or to use this technique for commercials.
Well respected online advertising agency Achtung! requested the production of a short stop motion video by ANIMATE the WORLD, for Royal Verkade Chocolates. This video was used as the key visual for the Verkade website during their recent fairtrade campaign.
Next to an animation, ANIMATE the WORLD photographed the whole chocolate range. These pack shots were used in the website.
Jelle used Twitter in a unique way to make an improvised animation. He asked his followers to name an everyday object and Jelle would only use these objects to produce a stop motion animated story. Check out the results!
This short animated film has been selected for the Montreal Stop Motion Animation Film Festival, and will play at October the 25th.
Also Molblog, a leading online marketing blog in the Netherlands, interviewed Jelle about the Twitter Animation Improvistation.
